Dolomites Cheeses Route
A voyage for all of the senses
These are legendary lands, set amongst the Dolomite peaks, featuring great contrasts and incredible landscapes.
Starting out from Val di Fiemme we come across the tradition of renowned cheeses such as the Caprino di Cavalese, excellent in combination with the honey made in these valleys. Nearby Val di Fassa hides the secrets of the Ladin culture inside the celebrated Puzzone di Moena and the tasty Cher de Fascia. On the climb up to Passo Rolle we enter the heart of the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park, a veritable dive into authentically pristine nature for adults and children.
From there, passing through San Martino di Castrozza sitting underneath the imposing Pale peaks, one enters Valle di Primiero that gives its name to its most famous fresh and ripe cheese. In the Botìro di Primiero di Malga instead we find all of the flavours of mountain dairies and of the uncontaminated meadows of the nearby Valle del Vanoi.
