Founded in 1950, CAVIT (Trentino vine-growers’ winery) has grown to a consortium of 10 associated co-operative wineries that represent about 4,500 partner vine-growers and hold around 5,500 hectares of vineyards (i.e. 60% of the entire Trentino vine-growing area). CAVIT has a strong and rooted tie to its own territory – the 10 partner wineries are spread out in the Trentino region and contribute to preserve the best of the local traditional vine-growing and winemaking techniques.
